Healthcare Software Development, Built Around Your Practice
Clinic software built around your workflow: portals, websites, receptionist tools, billing and integrations, scoped in writing.

Software built for
Custom Builds
Software shaped around your workflow, not a tool you adapt to.
EHR Integrations
Connections to your EHR and clinic systems, checked before build.
Phased Delivery
Written scope per phase, with a working release each time.
Support After Launch
Training, documentation, support from the team that built it.
A Healthcare Software Team, Not a General Software Agency
Practices arrive here when the off-the-shelf tool almost fits: the workflow that matters is the one the vendor never imagined. The same team designs, builds and supports your software, so nothing is lost in a handoff. We scope honestly, build in phases, and support what we ship. You work directly with the people building it, from first sketch to supported software.
- Discovery against your real workflow, not a feature wishlist
- A fixed, written scope before build starts, with phases you approve
- Integrations tested against your actual systems, in their test modes
- Support and iteration after launch, from the team that built it

Why practices outgrow off-the-shelf tools
An off-the-shelf tool covers the common workflow well. The trouble starts with the workflow only your practice runs: the referral route, the billing rule, the form your staff retype by hand. That gap is where custom software earns its place.
It almost fits, then it stops
The standard features work, but the workflow your team runs daily needs a workaround or a spreadsheet.
Handoffs lose the detail
Design, build and support split across vendors, and nobody left knows how your system connects.
Value should land early
A phased build puts the first usable piece in your team's hands before the whole scope is done.
Support should know the build
When the team that built your software also supports it, fixes start from knowledge, not a ticket queue.
If any of that sounds familiar, the problem is rarely your team. It is the gap between your workflow and the tool you were given.

Patient Portals That Patients Actually Use
A portal should cut front-desk work, not add to it: booking, forms, messages, results and payments in one place, under your branding. Where a portal already exists, we connect to it rather than replacing it, and build only the missing piece.
- Booking, forms, messages, results and payments in one place
- Secure access shaped around your workflows and user roles
- Built to connect with your EHR where access allows
- Your branding, not a vendor portal patients must learn
- Phased delivery, so the first usable piece lands early
Already have a portal? We audit what it does well, keep what patients already use, and build only the gap, so you do not pay to replace a system that mostly works for your team.

Clinic Websites That Turn Visits Into Bookings
Most patients meet you on a phone, often in a hurry, and judge the practice by the first screen. Your website should answer the service, cost and booking questions fast, then hand the patient to booking, intake or your portal.
- Fast, accessible pages shaped around your specialty and brand
- Booking and intake connected to the systems you already use
- A page for every service, provider and location
- Content your team can update without a developer
- Patient portals, secure access to appointments, forms, messages and results. Patient portal development
- AI-assisted front-desk tools, after-hours call handling and enquiry capture, so a patient who finds you at 9 p.m. is not lost by morning. AI medical receptionist
- Telemedicine platforms, video visits and virtual care workflows connected to your systems, scoped with the safeguards that work requires. Telemedicine solutions
How a Build Runs, From Sketch to Support
A clear process, with something in your hands at every step: a scope, a prototype, a working release, so the project is never a leap of faith.
01Discover & Scope
We learn the workflow it must serve, who uses it, what it replaces, and what it connects to.
02Design & Prototype
Screens and flows drafted around your team's habits, reviewed with the people who will actually use them.
03Build in Phases
Working software in stages, each phase usable and tested, so value lands early and surprises stay cheap.
04Integrate & Test
Connections to your EHR and other systems exercised in test modes, with your staff validating real scenarios.
05Launch & Support
Go-live with training and documentation, then support and iteration from the engineers who built the software.

AI Receptionist Tools That Answer Every Call
Missed calls are missed patients, and most come after hours. Our AI receptionist tooling answers, books and routes around the clock, then hands the conversation to your team with notes, so nothing found at 9 p.m. is lost by morning. It sits alongside your website and portal, and the detail lives on its own page: AI medical receptionist.
- Call answering, booking and routing around the clock
- Enquiry capture with notes handed to your team
- Scoped with the safeguards handling patient calls requires
- Built to fit your booking and intake workflow
Automation and recall workflows belong with the front desk too: our healthcare automation service covers scheduling, reminders and recall that run themselves, without adding to your team's day.
What a Healthcare Build Has to Get Right
A healthcare build is not one product. It is a set of pieces, portals, websites, receptionist tools, telemedicine, billing and apps, that have to work as one system for patients and staff. This page is the hub: it routes you to the right specialist page, where scope and process are set out in detail.
Two build shapes sit under this hub. A custom build is bespoke software for one organisation, with owned IP and EHR integrations, while a SaaS build is a multi-tenant product sold to many organisations. Our HIPAA consulting service reviews the safeguards across either shape, and dental practices have their own website and portal pages too.
The builds we cover
- Patient portals, websites and mobile apps for patients
- AI receptionist tooling for the front desk
- Telemedicine platforms for virtual care
- Billing software and claims workflows
- EHR integrations that connect the pieces
- Automation for scheduling, reminders and recall

Billing Software Built Around Your Claims
Billing breaks when the claim, the payment and the record live in different places. Our billing builds connect claims workflows and patient payments to the rest of your system, so your team stops re-keying and chasing.
- Custom billing modules and claims workflows
- Patient payment tools connected to your records
- Dental workflows included where the build needs them
- Scoped with the compliance the data requires
For the full detail on claims, eligibility and patient payments, see the billing software page, where scope and process are set out.
Security & Privacy
Security, privacy and HIPAA: explained plainly
Software is not “HIPAA-compliant” because it uses encryption, and no honest builder should sell you a badge. HIPAA obligations depend on what information a system collects, stores or transmits, and on your organization's role. That is why safeguards are scoped per build, not assumed.
Here is how we approach it in practice:
- A general enquiry form that collects only contact details is designed so that patients are never asked for health information in a general contact form, and the form says so in plain language. Anything health-related is routed to a channel built for it, before any details are shared.
- Any part of a build that will handle protected health information, a portal, intake form or billing workflow, is scoped separately: encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, audit logging, appropriate hosting, and Business Associate Agreements put in place with the vendors involved where the work requires them.
- Tracking tools need care on healthcare software too. The US Department of Health and Human Services has published guidance on how HIPAA applies to online tracking technologies. We review analytics and advertising tags against that guidance with you before launch, rather than installing them by default.
For more detail, read how we approach HIPAA across our work.

We also build for independent doctors and physicians, telehealth and virtual care providers, and healthcare startups that need a first product which can grow into a platform. Dental practices can go further with our dental portal solution, and patients can stay connected with our mobile healthcare apps.
Off-the-shelf or custom? An honest comparison
| Question | Template / page-builder site | Custom build with Med Clinic X |
|---|---|---|
| Cost at the start | Lower, per seat or per month | Higher, scoped per phase |
| Launch speed | Faster for a standard workflow | Slower: design and build are bespoke |
| Fit to your workflow | Limited to what the vendor imagined | Built around your actual workflow |
| EHR and system connections | Limited to available integrations | Built around your actual systems |
| Ownership and portability | Often tied to the vendor | You own the software and its data |
| Best for | A practice whose workflow matches the tool | Practices where the workflow is the difference |
If an off-the-shelf tool genuinely fits your workflow and budget, we will tell you.
What affects the price of a healthcare build?
We quote per phase after scoping, because the honest drivers of cost are knowable only after we see your workflow.
Two ways to work with us: a fixed-scope project with defined deliverables and a defined price, or a phased build that launches the piece that hurts first and adds the rest in later phases.
