An acute care teaching hospital affiliated with the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and Connecticut Children's Medical Center, it provides expert care in cardiology, orthopedics, behavioral health and surgical innovation, and operates a Level II Trauma Center staffed 24 hours a day.
