EAMC-Lanier Rural Emergency Hospital in Valley, Alabama, is part of East Alabama Health and provides outpatient and emergency care for Chambers County, Lee County and surrounding communities. Opened in 1950, the hospital offers emergency services around the clock, outpatient surgical care in a five-suite surgical center covering orthopaedic, gastrointestinal, ophthalmology, vascular and general surgery, and diagnostic imaging including X-ray, CT, MRI, bone density, ultrasound and mammography. The campus also offers physical therapy, cardiac rehabilitation, infusion services and a 103-bed nursing home.
