Riverside University Health System – Medical Center is a public teaching hospital in Moreno Valley, California, founded in 1893 as Riverside County's first general hospital. The 439-bed Medical Center and its hospital-based primary and specialty care clinics provide patient-focused care in medical, behavioral health and population health management. It is accredited as a Level I Trauma Center, is certified as a Primary Stroke Center, and has the only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in the region, alongside a Baby Friendly designation.
