Lucile Packard Children's Hospital Stanford, part of Stanford Medicine Children's Health, is a hospital in Palo Alto devoted entirely to pediatrics and obstetrics. Opened in 1991 and expanded with a new Main building in December 2017, the 361-bed hospital provides care through six centers of excellence covering brain and behavior, cancer, heart, pregnancy and newborn care, pulmonary medicine, and transplant, alongside a wide range of specialty services for babies, children, and expectant mothers.
