Los Angeles General Medical Center (LA General) is a public teaching hospital in Los Angeles, California, operated by the Los Angeles County Department of Health Services and affiliated with the Keck School of Medicine of USC. Formerly LAC+USC Medical Center, the over 600-bed hospital is a Level One Trauma Center and a premier training site for resident physicians, operating special units including a Burn Center, a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and psychiatric and pediatric emergency rooms for patients across Southern California.
