Tséhootsooí Medical Center in Fort Defiance is operated by Fort Defiance Indian Hospital Board, Inc., a tribally chartered nonprofit healthcare organization serving Navajo Nation communities in northeastern Arizona. The medical center provides inpatient and outpatient care with a 24-hour emergency department, alongside services that include laboratory, pharmacy, radiology, dental, behavioral health, and diabetes education. FDIHB also operates the Nihi Dine'é Bá Wellness Center in Fort Defiance, a health center in Sanders, and a mobile health program.
