The West Roxbury campus of the VA Boston Healthcare System provides primary care and specialty services for Veterans, including a 24-hour emergency department, surgery and physical therapy. It hosts a nationally recognized acute spinal cord injury program and a CARF-accredited acute rehabilitation program, and serves as a regional referral center for intensive inpatient surgery, including vascular, specialized general and cancer-related surgery, orthopedics, hand and joint replacement surgery, plastic surgery and urology.
