Jefferson Regional, operated by Jefferson Hospital Association, Inc., is the only general acute care hospital in Jefferson County and the major referral center for an 11-county area of southeast Arkansas. The medical center in Pine Bluff is licensed for 300 acute care beds and offers a Level 3 trauma center, intensive care, surgery suites, a hospitalist service, an urgent care center, a cancer center, a breast imaging center, a sleep lab and a joint center, and operates more than 16 clinics across the region.
